Our Goals

The Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF/SIG) awarded to our Coalition through the Indiana Family Social Services Administration along with the Department of Education grant awarded to our schools support our efforts toward reducing negative youth alcohol outcomes in our community.

Our goals are to effect Retail and Social Availability of Alcohol to Youth, along with our community's General Beliefs About Alcohol Use and Abuse

The Community Mobilization for Change on Alcohol (CMCA) is the evidence-based program we have selected from SAMSHA’s (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) model programs. 

In addition to the CMCA we are::

• Collaborating with Indiana Excise Police
• Implementing "Not In OurTown" - a community wide media campaign
• Partnering with Southern Indiana Pediatrics
